What equipment do I need and where can I get it?

For all sports the first thing you need is some proper footwear. All weather soccer cleats tend to work best for all sports, but Lacrosse, and American Football cleats can work as well. Avoid cleats with metal studs.

For Hurling and Camogie you will need a hurl, a helmet with a facemask, and a sliothar. When you start out we will have some extras to loan, out and some equipment available for purchase. We will typically make a group purchase early in the season to get better pricing for everyone. If you are interested in purchasing your own equipment you can buy online and have equipment shipped to you O’NeillsMycro, and Marc are some of the most trusted gaelic brands.

How much does it cost?

It varies depending on the sports you play and the level you play, and how much you travel.

  • Membership is required for all players and covers the costs of facility rentals, jerseys, and league dues for Summer and fall.
  • Equipment: individual investment typically ranges between $50 and $250 per player.
  • Travel is also on the individual and depends on which cities we travel to. In the past we’ve gone to places like Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Albuquerque and Kansas City.
Are there Age Limits?

For our adult teams we have a minimum age of 16 to play. Younger players can join our youth program. Our maximum age is young in spirit.
