Gaels, it is with a heavy heart we received news of the passing of Michael Costello. Mick was one of the original members of the club and the first coach of the women’s team. He had been living in San Francisco and had returned home to Ireland after a short illness where he sadly passed away. Mick was a proud Irishman from Kilkenny, mad about hurling and a very close friend of another Kilkenny man and Denver Gael Bill Murphy. Mick was Bill’s best man and Godfather to Bill’s son Jack. Some of the older original members of the Denver Gaels gathered this past Sunday at Nallens on the back patio to raise a glass to Mick. He was taken too soon and will be sadly missed.

Reminder! Our second new player clinic is tomorrow

Reminder! Our second new player clinic is tomorrow from 12-2pm! We will be doing Gaelic Football from 12-1 and Hurling/Camogie from 1-2. All at Ralston Recreation Area (64th & Simms, aka Arvada West Highschool)

We would love to have you join in!
Also for current members, there will be Camogie practice/scrimmage at 10am and Men’s Football at 11am before the clinic begins!
