2017 Colorado Irish Festival Tournament

Colorado Irish Festival Details

The Colorado Irish Festival is the largest Gaelic Sports Tournament in the Rocky Mountain Region! Each year we welcome teams from around the country in a spirited competition of Hurling, Camogie, and Gaelic Football.

Schedule: TBD

Venue and Parking: Clement Park 25 minutes Southwest of Downtown Denver

  • Parking: There is minimal parking directly outside the fields, this will likely be full by 8:00 am. We highly recommend arriving before 10:00 a.m. and parking across the street from Bowles at the Bed Bath & Beyond. Otherwise there is parking and busses from Columbine High School.

Medical

  • Massage Therapists at fields provided by Smart Body Work – cash tips are appreciated
  • First Aid – Hopefully all will go well and injury free, but we all know accidents happen.  We have a general first aid kit at the check-in tent and will have an ambulance on site as well in case of larger emergencies (hopefully not necessary). If minor first aid is needed we have plenty of registered nurses that will be on site to help patch everyone up.

Items to Bring: It is going to be hot and dry, a few ways to beat the heat.

  • Lots of sunscreen, the atmosphere is thinner up here and your a mile closer to the sun, we cannot emphasize this enough.
  • Water!!!
  • Coolers with ice
  • Canopies and umbrellas for the sun if you have them and camping chairs to stay off your feet.
  • Basic snacks and water will be provided, additional food and beverages are available inside the festival for purchase

After party celebration: TBD
